First I would like to explain what blogging is.  A blog is a type of website but it is mostly for personal representation of a person or a company.  You can post what are the latest updates happening in your life or the updates happening in your company. They get a lot of followers since they are already famous in their life, so people subscribe to their blog automatically since they are already famous and very less marketing efforts are required to get the desired traffic to their blog.
